About The Course

Diploma In Elementry Education (D.El.Ed) Programme Is A Two Year Course Which Is Divided Into 4 Semesters To Train Teachers Mainly For The Primary & Upper Primary Level.The Aim Of Elementary Education Is The Promotion Of Spiritual, Moral,Cultural, Mental And Physical Development Of Pupils. Eligible Candidates Are Trained By The State Government Of Kerala And The Conducting Authority Of The Course Is Scert.

The Programme Aims At Enabling The Target Group To Develop In Them Skills, Attitudes, Competencies And Understanding To Make Teaching And Learning Effictive. The Course Includes 100 Days Of School Internship Programme , 15 Days Of Comunity Living Camp And 3 Days Study Tour Etc……..

1. Candidates Must Have Passed 10+2 Or Equivalent Exam In Any Stream With A Minimum Of 50% Marks (45% For Sc/St Students) From A Recognized Board.
2. The Applicants Must Be Permanent Residents Of Kerala.
3. The Minimum Age Required To Apply For The Course Is 17 Years
